In the anime series, Attack on Titans, we are met with several kinds of titan forms. One of which is the Flying Titan. Falco Grice is the character that transforms into this titan, who is also referred to as the Jaw Titan.

As its name suggests, the Jaw Titan is capable of shredding anything to bits with its incredibly powerful talons and jaws. The titan is also relatively small, making it faster than other titans. On top of being fast, the Jaw Titan can fly. Now, this flying ability wasn’t naturally present in Falco’s Jaw Titan.

How Did the Flying Titan Come to Be?

Falco is believed to have gained his avian supernatural ability from drinking Zeke’s, who is a Beast Titan, spinal fluid. He didn’t drink the fluid willingly, since a bottle of wine traced with the liquid was smashed atop his head by Niccolo.

Having said that, Zeke’s Beast Titan contains memories of flight, which Falco inherits and motivates him to fly. It’s worth noting that Zeke’s influence on Falco was strong as he was able to transform him into a Pure Titan with his scream in episode 78.

All the same, fans speculated that Falco’s Jaw Titan was going to be able to fly due to its distinctive features. For instance, previous holders of the Jaw Titan didn’t have talons as Falco did. Additionally, Falco’s Jaw Titan had furry arms that looked almost like wings. His jaws also resembled a beak-like appearance.

Now, this flying ability may have been foreshadowed due to Falco’s name being synonymous with “falcon.” Plus, during the first episode of season four, Falco was seen with birds flying around him.

Characteristics of Flying Titan

After becoming a Flying Titan, there are some differences from the previous form. The Flying Titan resembles eagle-like qualities with its talons and wings. He can fly swiftly and easily transport humans.

The Flying Titan also possesses his original Jaw Titan powerful jaws, which can bite through Titan flesh.

Nevertheless, the Jaw Titan still maintains some of his fighting skills and is still able to defend other characters in need.

Role of Flying Titan

Despite not acquiring the same strength as other powerful titans, the Flying Titan still held a crucial role during the final battle against Eren.

Falco’s Flying Titan manages to save characters such as Levi and his friends with his flight ability. When he rescued them, he continued to protect them while they were creating a plan to defeat Eren.

To Conclude

To summarize, the Falco can transform into the Flying Titan due to ingesting Zeke’s spinal fluid. The fluid gave Falco memories of a titan who had the flight ability. This encouraged Falco’s transformation to a flying Jaw Titan.

Although Falco’s titan is seemingly smaller than others, he was able to play a major role in protecting the protagonists in the anime series.

The Black Clover is an anime series and manga created by Yuki Tabata. The story centers around Asta, the protagonist housed in an orphanage with his friend Yuno. In the series, everyone is able to hone their mana to form magical powers, except for Asta. He fully relies on his physical strength.

Now, this series, like any other anime series, contains multiple filler episodes that you can skip without missing out on the main plot story. Of all the episodes in the Black Clover, 10% of them are labeled as filler ones.

Asta gets to go on his first mission accompanying Magna. The mission scenes are canon, while the rest of the episode is mostly filler.

Episode 9: Beasts

Asta embarks on a mission and brings along Noelle for the first time. As with episode 8, the mission scenes are more important than the rest.

Episode 69: The Briar Maiden’s Melancholy

This and the previous episode are basically about the festival. In this episode, you’re mostly met with other festival shenanigans where Vanessa becomes jealous of Charlotte, the Blue Rose Knights captain. They end up dueling with each other.

Episode 102: Two Miracles

This episode sees our main protagonists, Asta and Yuno going back to their hometown to fight against an incarnated Elf. The fight beckons nostalgia from the old hometown’s residents.

To Conclude

There’s a reason why Black Clover contains several filler episodes. The manga doesn’t have enough chapters to fill a full anime series. Nevertheless, the canon episodes are the ones originating from Tabata’s manga.

You can skip the filler episodes and watch the canon ones if you’re exclusively looking for a series that incorporates the manga’s original story.

The Promised Neverland flower, also known as, Vida, is a bloom that feeds off of human blood. The flowers are initially white, but as they drain the blood of their victim, the vampiric Vida turns red.

The Vida’s first screen time in The Promised Neverland was depicted when it grew out of Conny’s dead body. Her sister, Emma, and Norman found the monstrous flower draining the victim’s blood from her chest. It was then revealed that the orphanage was housing children to become food for monsters.

What Does the Flower Look Like?

The blood-sucking flowers almost resemble geraniums. It contains several sharp stems branching out to multiple petals. The petals are white and closed when bloodless. Once it drains its next victim, the petals bloom into a red color.

What Does the Flower Symbolize

Now, some have theorized that choosing the geranium species as the base appearance of the Vida was no coincidence. This kind of flower carries several positive connotations, such as good health and kindness. Contrastingly, they also symbolize foolishness and stupidity in the Victorian sense.

It seems that the theme of foolishness comes to play in The Promised Neverland. The children in the orphanage are happy and enjoy each other’s company, unbeknownst of their fatal fate with the Vida once they get ‘adopted’ like Conny.

Other perspectives have shared that the Vida looks more like the Red Spider Lily. This species of bloom has a notoriously poisonous bulb. Accordingly, in Japanese culture, the flower is synonymous with death.

Alternatively, some associate the Vida with hydrangeas as they come in the color red, are four-petaled, and come out in clusters. Speaking of color, hydrangeas are known to get their color from the pH levels of their soil. This characteristic may draw similarity from the Vida since it changes color once latched onto a host.

Apart from that, the etymology of Vida comes from Spanish and Portuguese roots, where the term translates to ‘life.’ This is undoubtedly ironic since the flower takes away, rather than gives life.

How is the Flower Used?

The flower in The Promised Neverland is rootless and contains a knife-like stem at its base. This sharp edge is used to stab its victims and suck their blood. The vampiric flower renders its hosts pale and dead once it’s finished its drink.

Why is the Flower Significant in The Promised Land?

The Vida is crucial to the ritual of Gupna. Demons use the flower to stab it in the heart of their victim to create a sacrifice to God and then eat them. The ritual is significant to the demons, as it’s similar to when humans say grace before their meal.

To Conclude

The Promised Neverland flower carries a large role throughout the series. It can be perceived as an antagonist, where its deadly purpose brings fear to children like Norman in the series.
Apart from that, it’s a tool used by demons to complete their rituals. When blood is drawn from the meat, it lasts longer, or so Sonju advised Emma.

Yami Sukehiro is a crucial secondary character in the Black Clover series and manga. He’s portrayed as the first captain of the Black Bulls squad of the Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. Yami was also a prior member of the Grey Deer squad, which is now referred to as Aqua Deer.

Currently, Yami is not confirmed to be dead. Worries about his death came after a particularly action-packed fight scene, Yami and Asta, the main protagonist, battled against Dante. The latter is the manga’s main antagonist in the second saga.

Dante is a member of the Dark Triad and a host of the Devil or Lucifero. That being the case, you can imagine why fans are worried about Yami’s fate in the fight. The battle seemed to be tipping in Dante’s favor as Yami’s team was becoming overpowering.

In the end, Yami and Asta persevered and fought off Dante. As Yami approached Dante to tie him up, the series took an unexpected turn.

Why is Yami in Danger?

Yami was suddenly caught by Zenon using his Bone magic. Zenon then proceeded to save Dante from his death. Now, why would Zenon capture Yami, rather than simply fight him off? Well, the Dark Triad, consisting of Dante, Zenon, and Vanica, requires arcane stage mages, otherwise known as Yami and William.

They need them to summon up the Tree of Qliphoth, which will free all the powerful devils residing in the Underworld and into the human world. Now, Yami and William are held captive in the Spade Kingdom, which is ruled by none other than the Dark Triad.

The two arcane mages are currently in the middle of the Tree of Qliphoth’s spell formation awaiting their fate. The spell relies on their mana to work, which when activated could result in their death.

Fans believed that Asta and Yuno would attempt a rescue mission to release their respective captains. Others previously theorized that Charlotte, who was previously saved by Yami from her childhood curse, could be the heroine instead.

In the end, Asta and Yuno will rescue Yami. Even though he’s saved, Morris manages to open the tree by using his devil’s power to allocate Lolopechka’s knowledge into his mind. Afterward, he was able to grow the tree, and in turn, open the first gate.

With two powerful devils on the loose, Yami is in even more danger than before. Nevertheless, fans speculate that Yami will still survive.

What Will Happen if Yami Dies?

Aside from fans’ devastation over one of the main characters’ death, Asta will likely replace Yami as the captain of the Black Bulls squad. Yami’s death will probably take a large toll on Asta since he perceives him as a father figure.

To Conclude

Does Yami die? Well, the famed Black Clover character is yet to die thanks to Asta and Yuno’s rescue.

That being said, the creator of the famed manga, Yuki Tabata, seldom kills off his characters, let alone one of the main protagonists. It’s safe to say that Yami won’t die anytime soon.

Rock Lee is one of the many characters in the famed anime series and manga Naruto. His character is a ninja part of the four-man cell ninja group spearheaded by Might Guy.

Now, as every main character in Naruto’s generation grew, they seem to get paired and have children. Nevertheless, in Rock Lee’s case, his wife’s character is not explicitly disclosed, despite having a son, namely, Metal Lee.

Tenten vs. Azami

Fans theorized that it may be Tenten, due to the close connection we saw in the show. Additionally, they were on the same team. Apart from that, during the credits scene in the Boruto film, we see an image of the new generation of ninjas. Their parents are posing behind them.

In the image, Tenten is seen near Rock Lee. Alas, the Tenten-Rock Lee theory was debunked when it was later revealed that Tenten never married.

Alternatively, fans brought up the possibility that Lee married Azami. Her character was portrayed in a filler episode as one of the children of Tsubaki and Iyashi.

Azami is the grandchild of Chen, notably known as the Taijutsu Master. That being said, some believe that she is a reincarnation of her grandfather because of how talented she is in Taijutsu. Nonetheless, the theory of Azami and Rock Lee being a married couple is yet to be confirmed.

Motherless Arc Theme

Masashi Kishimoto, otherwise known as the creator of Naruto, seems to instill this missing mother arc in his other characters. For instance, in Might Guy’s case, his mother was never revealed, only his father, also known as Might Duy, was shown. Fans are unsure whether Duy’s wife passed away or simply left.

Interestingly enough, Rock Lee’s parentage was also never shown, yet he viewed Might Guy as a father figure. This brings us to another theory that fans have thought about where Metal Lee isn’t Rock Lee’s child at all. Instead, it could be that Metal Lee only views Rock Lee as a father figure, similar to the Guy-Lee dynamic.

Other Theories

Some fans have speculated that Rock Lee’s wife has possibly passed away during childbirth. Another possible answer could be that Metal Lee was adopted, so Rock Lee is yet to be married in the first place.

Rock Lee Love Interests

During the show and manga, Rock Lee was depicted with few love interests. In the initial phases, he was shown to have an interest in Sakura Uchiha, but she didn’t return his feelings.

At first, Sakura thought Lee was weird, but as the show went on, she became nicer to him. That could be due to the fact he saved her in the Chunin Exams from the Otogakure genin.
Besides that, most fans shipped Tenten with Rock Lee. They even named them LeeTen because of the strong bond they formed throughout the show.

Who is Rock Lee’s wife? While there’s no fool-proof answer to that, various speculations pointed to some possible answers.

Some say it could be Azami. Others theorize that Metal Lee could be adopted or his birth mother may have passed away during childbirth.
